mpressive Performance in Portugal

The TBKART Racing Team recently showcased their prowess at the prestigious KZ World Championship in Portugal, fielding their chassis across all three international gearbox kart categories. The event, held at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve, was a testament to TBKART's commitment to performance and material development, achieving impressive results despite narrowly missing the podium in the KZ2 Masters category.

Key Highlights and Achievements

The second weekend of October marked a significant milestone for TBKART Racing Team in what has been an impressive year. Building on the momentum from a bronze medal win at the European Championship in the KZ2 Masters category, Kristijan Habulin reaffirmed his status as a top contender in the FIA Karting International Masters Super Cup. Despite a rainy start, Habulin demonstrated remarkable skill on a dry track, climbing positions in two heats and even setting the fastest lap in the last one. Ultimately, he finished fourth in the final after a challenging start, adding another achievement to his stellar season.

Outstanding Performances by TBKART Drivers

TBKART's effectiveness was further proven by Luis Laurin Speck in the FIA Karting World Championship KZ category. Speck made several impressive comebacks throughout the weekend, recovering eight positions to break into the top 15 in the final heat. Meanwhile, in the FIA Karting World Cup KZ2, Elie Goldstein showcased his potential once again, overcoming setbacks to finish in the top 15 with a remarkable 14-place comeback, setting the fastest lap in his final heat.

New Talent and Technical Innovations

Rodrigo Ferreira also made his mark in his first FIA Karting competition, overcoming a tough qualifying session to make significant progress throughout the weekend. His adaptability mirrored the TBKART Racing Team's efforts, as they explored various technical solutions to optimise performance. Under the guidance of team manager Simone Brenna, the team used these events to test new chassis and prepare for upcoming homologations in 2025, focusing on innovations in the braking system.
