Race Winning Performance for TB Kart UK at TVKC Ice Breaker

TBKART shines at TVKC ice breaker weekend: a showcase of speed, determination, and potential

The TVKC Ice Breaker Weekend at PFI Circuit marked the beginning of an exciting karting season, with the TB Kart UK team demonstrating resilience, skill, and the performance potential of our cutting-edge chassis. From the Junior Rotax A Final to the fiercely competitive Seniors category, it was a weekend filled with highs, challenges, and unforgettable moments.

Junior Rotax A Final: grit and heartbreak

The Junior Rotax A Final showcased the fierce talent of our drivers, proving once again why the TBKART chassis is renowned across Europe for its race-winning potential.

James Kell's front-row heartbreak.

Leading the charge was James Kell, who qualified an impressive P7 overall, securing a front-row start in P2 for the final. James’ pace throughout the weekend was a testament to the precision engineering of the TBKART chassis, regularly dominating tracks across Europe.

However, motorsport can be as heartbreaking as it is exhilarating. Despite showing race-winning potential, James’ race ended prematurely with a DNF, cutting short what promised to be a spectacular performance. This setback doesn’t diminish the undeniable pace he displayed, reminding us all of the unpredictable nature of racing. James’ efforts exemplify why the TBKART chassis is a force to be reckoned with.

Lewis Sumner delivered an impressive performance, starting from P27 overall and steadily working his way up to finish P18 in the A Final. His consistency and determination highlight the versatility and reliability of the TBKART platform.

Meanwhile, Riley Bishop battled back from a DNF in his pre-heat, securing a spot in the A Final via the B Final and finishing in P19 — a true testament to his focus and resilience.

Seniors: a promising start

Harry delivered a solid performance, finishing P18, showcasing his determination and consistency throughout the weekend, thanks to his hard work and dedication over the winter months.

Louis Harvey’s return to karting was marked by blistering pace, topping the timesheets in practice and demonstrating his raw talent. Despite tough luck in the races, Louis crossed the line in P19, marking a promising start to the season. His performance underscores the strength and adaptability of the TBKART chassis, setting high expectations for the races to come.

Elliot Foster faced a challenging weekend after an incident in the pre-final, but his determination shone through in the B Final. Fighting hard, Elliot secured P9, showing resilience and the drive to keep pushing forward. His performance reflects the unyielding spirit of Team TBKART and the trust drivers place in their equipment.

TBKART: proven performance, ready for the season

This weekend’s results highlight not only the talent of our drivers but also the exceptional engineering behind the TBKART chassis.

As seen across Europe, our chassis delivers race-winning performance, and the potential demonstrated at PFI Circuit is just the beginning.

With valuable lessons learnt and strong performances across the board, Team TBKART is ready to tackle the challenges of the season ahead. The heart, skill, and determination displayed by our drivers promise an exciting year for the team.
