Kell Dominates in difficult conditions as 2025 TB Kart chassis proves unmatched at Warden Law

The opening round of The Kart Championship 2025 delivered drama, unpredictability and performance-testing conditions—and the brand new 2025 TB Kart chassis rose to the occasion in style.

As the first class onto slicks following rainfall, the track was at its most treacherous. But James Kell, running the latest green-liveried 2025 TB Kart, put on a masterclass in control and confidence. Starting P11 in Heat 1, he charged through the field with authority, taking the lead and pulling clear lap after lap to win by an astonishing 18 seconds, setting the purple lap along the way. Reflecting his stunning performance there last year where he dominated in the wet.

In Heat 2, again went purple, moving from P11 to P4 - showing both the consistency of his driving and the capability of the 2025 chassis. Unfortunately, he was repeatedly hit from behind during the formation laps of the final, causing damage that prevented him from finishing. It was a bitter end to an otherwise outstanding weekend, but the performance had already made its mark.

Across the paddock, fellow drivers running under the white-liveried XKART team also showed what the new chassis is capable of.

Riley Bishop delivered a dominant victory in the Junior Rotax final, purple-lapping both the Superheat and the Final. In Junior Primo, Cooper Campbell-Lees executed a smart, well-managed drive to claim P2, while Elijah Hazelwood staged one of the most courageous comebacks of the weekend, launched out of his kart and onto the banking during the Superheat, then returning to battle through the final to finish P11 with incredible pace and determination.

All ran the newly updated 2025 TB Kart chassis, and all proved its capabilities across conditions and classes. From Kell’s dominance in the wet to Bishop’s total control in the dry, the TB Kart delivered exactly what top-level drivers need, confidence, grip, and race-winning pace.
